Overview

Located deep in the streets of Anvilsdan, Iron Will is a small smithy with a growing reputation. The building is made of dark stone and its low roof is covered in soot and burn marks. A small metal sign hangs off the front with the name of the shop painted in bright, golden letters. The surrounding area is packed tightly with small, short buildings and even smaller streets. The area is quiet other than the consistent sounds of work from the smithy.

Magdin

The sole owner and worker of Iron Will, Magdin is a giant of a man with deep brown skin and a shaved head. He is extremely tall and strong, with a large burn scar over his left eye and scrapes up his left arm. He is untrusting of newcomers, often turning away travelers visiting his shop even if they offer far above typical prices.

Darkened Metals

A major contributor to Iron Will’s growing reputation among the populace is the unique metal Magdin works with. His work can easily be recognized by the dark metal of the weaponry, contrasting sharply to the typical shining steels of the city. He is extremely guarded about this metal, and the process in which he obtains it, even alluding the networks of Shine and the machinations of The Five Fingers.

Unsleeping Work

While Anvilsdan is no stranger to late nights of work, those living near Iron Will have noticed Magdin working exceedingly long hours and even going days without sleep. There are also where the shop is closed to the public, yet the sounds of hammering metal come through constantly.
