Huitzilin Liberator
Set during the Spanish Invasion of Latin America, Huitzilin Liberator is a melee-based bullet hell where you defend your home from Conquistadors. Developed in a team of three over 10 weeks the game features three levels, each with a unique boss, and 2 unique powers to play with!
I did the majority of the research on the history and culture of the Aztecs. We wanted to make sure the game was built on accurate information and the gameplay actually referenced the mythology of the area. This included character designs, weapons, and the names of the different abilities.
Another major aspect I worked on was the level design of the game, building the pieces of each level and then making sure everything aligned in Unity.
