Little Nemo and the Nightmare Fiends
During the summer of 2024 I worked as a Game Design Intern at Team Nemo Inc on their upcoming project Little Nemo and the Nightmare Fiends, a nostalgic platformer filled with character. As part of that experience I wrote several sets of quest dialogue to be used across the game world. This ranged from a simple intro and outro line to longer quests involving talking to many people. Below is a sample of dialogue written, presented in a spreadsheet for easy implementation.



I was also tasked with designing and fleshing out the planned flow through the games hub area, Nemo’s Home. This part of the job involved a lot of puzzle planning and creative routing to keep players engaged as they unlocked new levels. I developed first drafts of three different puzzles, each used to unlock one of the three major levels, and came up with uses for some of the previously empty rooms in the house.
